5 Tips to Getting in Shape for Your Day

Wedding season is upon us and summer is around the corner. We all know the stress of getting in shape for your special day. Here are some helpful and easy tips to get you on your way!

 

1. Instead of adding cream and sugar to your coffee in the morning, try adding skim milk or almond milk instead. This small change may take some getting used to, but it will help by reducing sugar intake and adding a healthier protein to your drink.

 

2. Take the stairs. For you early morning working folk, the stairs may seem like a nightmare. However, this will boost your heart rate and help with productivity during the day, leading to becoming more positive and motivated to workout at the dreaded gym... but let's not get ahead of ourselves too soon.

 

3 .Drink more water. This is a given. The more water you consumer throughout your day, the more of a chance your body will have to flush any toxins out.

 

4. Adding a healthier side option to your meals. We all love to have a burger once in a while, but instead of having the fries to go with it, trying subsituting these with some greens. 

 

5. Share your foods. When temptation strikes, and you and your loved one want to go out to eat, try getting plates to share. Instead of eating an entire pizza to yourself (admit, we've all done it), share your treat and reduce your caloric intake at the same time!
